Objective
Audible continues to blaze trails in the audiobook and podcast arenas including the latest A-list installment of "The Method" featuring Zachary Quinto and Stephanie Beatriz written by James Patterson. My team at hi5.agency was brought on as the strategy, production, and post-production partner to bring to life a create content campaign worthy of the storytelling likes of James Patterson and team.
Strategy
Ask more questions than give answers to drive anticipation and awareness for James Patterson's The Method. The right characters can allow us to confront even the darkest of truths that live within us. The question is, are we ready to see what lies within? How far would you go for the role of a lifetime? The Method defies our limitations, constantly asking ourselves, where does our actor end and the portrayed begin.
My Role
Being a fan of Zachary Quinto from the American Horror series, Star Trek, and several others to mention, was really amazing to get to be a part of this campaign. I helped to do concept ideation, title treatment explorations, deck presentations, carousel posts, photo clean ups, poster art, and more. Creating the title treatment we explored many typefaces, textures,, handwriting and shapes before we landed on our logo for the show. Our overall tone was star-driven, propulsive, addictive, dark psychological, secretive, and mature. Creating the 3 image carousel post was very fun. The dressing room is an actor's space for reflection, often housing collision between character and actor. The piece shows Brent's dressing room mirror, surrounded by lights with Brent's reflection seemingly staring back at it's viewer. Each image is littered with easter eggs and small clues that gives a peek into his dark side: hint the poster to Brent's childhood series 'My Brother's Keeper, in the background.
